Color

Color that follows the cut

Gloss, root color and face-framing highlights, done by the person who cuts your hair, so the color sits where the shape asks for it.

Color is a small part of the book, which keeps each appointment unhurried. Results vary with your hair and its history. Some shades take more than one visit, and we say so at the consultation.

  • Gloss and tone: 45 min

  • Root color: 90 min

  • Face-framing highlights: 120–150 min

What happens

A color visit, in four steps

  1. 01
    15 min

    Step 1: Talk

Your color history, from box color to salon color, and a photo of the shade you want.

  2. 02
    30–45 min

    Step 2: Mix and apply

Heesook mixes your shade and applies it in sections, or places foils around the face.

  3. 03
    30–45 min

    Step 3: Process

The color sets while you sit. We check it often and rinse when it is ready.

  4. 04
    20 min

    Step 4: Rinse and finish

A rinse, a tone if the shade needs one and a blow-dry, with a note of how to care for the color.

Before you book

Price and what to bring

  • What sets the price

The service, the length and density of your hair, and the time it takes. For color it also depends on the shade, how much hair is colored and the products used. Your price shows on the booking page before you confirm.

    How pricing works
  • What to bring

    • What has been on your hair, including box color and smoothing treatments

    • A photo of the shade you want

    • A patch test, arranged ahead, if you have ever reacted to a hair product

Questions

About color

Do I need a consultation before color?

For a first color, yes. We talk before anything is mixed, so the plan and the time agree. A returning client can book root color directly.

Can you color hair that has been colored before?

Yes. Tell us everything you remember. Your history decides the steps, and some plans take more than one visit.

Will I need a patch test?

You can arrange one at least 48 hours before a first color. Tell us when you book if you have ever reacted to a hair product.
